SHENZHEN, China, Dec 09, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ — Hard to Treat Diseases (HTDS; http://www.htdsmedical.com) and its China based subsidiary Mellow Hope announce that the company has closed its previously announced pending contract worth about $1.8 million. The revenues of this contract will be indicated in subsequent quarterly filings.

In other previously announced news and updates, the batch of MEVAC-DTaP (Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccine, absorbed) that had been delivered to Thailand undergoes further tests for distribution approval on Thailand’s market. As the tests continue, Mellow Hope invited Thailand’s FDA expert to visit its vaccine production facility in China. The FDA Expert will inspect the facility between 21st-24th December 2009. This invite and the facility inspection aim to speed up the MEVAC-DTaP vaccine registration in Thailand.

Slavica’s primary focus involves the enhancement and modification of existing approved drugs such as “Virazole” for the purpose of chemical repair of damage to the Central Nervous System, Multiple Sclerosis, SARS, Hepatis C.
